Antique Primitive Pine Blanket Chest / Storage Trunk

Antique pine blanket chest featuring simple country construction with a wide hinged plank top, deep storage interior, molded lower edge and short bracket feet. The pine has developed a warm honey-brown patina with visible knots, grain, surface wear and irregularities that give the piece its primitive character. Iron strap hinges secure the lid.
